What is my philosophy of teaching?
It is the personal philosophy of a teacher that shapes what and how they teach in real-world classrooms. My personal teaching philosophy is to empower students to believe they can accomplish their goals in a practical and realistic way, to help better society as a whole. I plan to do this by using relevant, practical approaches to problems that students face, and giving students skills they can use on their own. The issues I want to engage will be motivating youth to be more physically active, combating childhood
d obesity, and instilling values in students that will lead to them attaining lifelong fitness. I plan to address these by putting the focus of my attention on building student skill sets, and teaching students to find enjoyment in physical activity.
